Who we are
Amy Scott, M. Ed., LPC
Amy obtained her Master of Education with a double major in Counseling and Human Resource Development from Midwestern State University (now a Texas Tech campus) in Wichita Falls, Texas. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.
Her training as a counselor has covered many areas with adolescent groups at a day program, adolescent inpatient groups, adult individual therapy, eating disorder treatment at all levels of care (in-patient, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient). Her areas of focus in this practice are adults struggling with eating disorders, chronic illness and women’s issues.
Amy’s focus is to help you turn feelings of fear, shame, hopelessness, and other negative emotions into hope and freedom. Together we will empower you to make changes for your life to be better. Even if you're dealing with something long-term like a chronic illness, we can expand your capacity to cope and find joy in the midst of difficulty.
Her style is warm and kind, and she feels a deep compassion for the people she works with. It's her goal first and foremost to create a safe space that's focused on you and your unique needs. Let's start creating new thoughts and plans for you today!
